Harmonie Concert Band

The band was established in 1976 by Peter Stead, a former Scots Guardsman, and was based in Basildon.

Current Musical Director Roy Dignum took over the reins in 2002, and in January 2003 the band moved to its new rehearsal venue in Rayleigh. This is a convenient central venue within easy reach for members from all over south Essex, from as far as Hornchurch to the west and Braintree to the north.
