With approximately 50 members, we are a vibrant and growing band, who are always delighted to meet new woodwind, brass, and percussion players. Whether you’re returning to playing after a break or looking for a new musical challenge, we’d love to welcome you into our community.

To help you feel confident and fully enjoy the experience, we recommend that players be at ABRSM Grade 5 level or higher. However, as a non-audition band, we don’t require formal assessments—just a willingness to contribute and have fun making music.

Rehearsals
We rehearse every Wednesday evening at the MegaCentre, Rayleigh, from 19:30 to 21:45 during term time, including half-term weeks. Our rehearsals take place in a friendly and supportive atmosphere, where members work together to prepare for our concerts while enjoying the process of making music as a team.

Concerts
We perform a variety of concerts throughout the year at different venues. These performances provide an exciting opportunity for members to share their hard work with the community.

We are proud to be an inclusive and welcoming organisation. Our rehearsal venue is fully wheelchair accessible and features a disabled toilet.
