Musical Director

We are a passionate and dedicated band operating within a vibrant, friendly community. We are seeking a Musical Director who will help us achieve musical excellence while fostering a supportive and collaborative atmosphere.

Role Overview:

As the Musical Director, you will be responsible for leading all musical aspects of our band. This includes:

• Music and Programme Selection: Curate and select appropriate music for performances that align with the band's style and objectives.

• Rehearsal Scheduling: Organise and manage rehearsal schedules to ensure effective preparation for performances.

• Musical Leadership: Provide direction and inspiration to band members to bring out their best performances.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Committee to align musical choices with the band’s vision and goals.

• Develop and implement rehearsal plans that maximise band performance.

• Foster a positive and encouraging environment that enhances teamwork and individual growth.

• Oversee all musical matters, from initial planning to final execution.
